Hi
I would like to develope a Real Time data base using Real time Linux...
This is going to be my master thesis + the optimizations and analysis
and comparisons in baside it...
I am planning to put the data in the main memory and have the processes
hopefully run in kernel level. As far as communication with outside
world ( querries comming for the network), I am planning to except the
network interrupts in the Real time Kernel and not pass them to the
Linux kernel...Ofcourse after that I have to work on network contentions
and the problems....
Since it's the start of my project, I AM SO WORRIED and I am not sure
whether this project is worth spending time on I would love to get some
of your opinions,
whether it's a good idea?
In what other extends I can work on this project?
Is Real Time Linux a good base for my work?
Do you have any other suggestions regarding projects (data base or non)
for Real Time Linux????
I appretiate your help...
I am looking forward to getting your oppinions....
Maryam
