Thanks for your reply!
I've checked out General Software and they want $10,000 USD for their
BIOS!!!! EEEK!
They memory and I/O map that this prototype has is slightly different
than a regular PC. There are all the on-board peripherals in the Elan
and there are 4 extra serial ports in the design. So, I can't use
a precanned BIOS image.
It's kinda like the proverbial question "What came first? The chicken
or the egg?". I've got a design that I would buy the G.S. BIOS for but
I need to prove my design works but I can't prove the design works
unless
I have a BIOS for it.
