Dear All, I am going to give a talk on our RT-Linux application at an Symposium on Molecular Spectroscopy in Columbus, OH. This means the audience consist of physicists and chemists working in the area of spectroscopy (molecular physics) and theoretical + computational chemistry. Does someone have expierience with RT-Linux presentations regarding that kind of audience ? Do you have any suggestions what to show (probably even what to let out ?) Do you know what the typical problems of that kind of audience are ? Are scientist interested in RT-Linux, or are all of them happily using LabVIEW for data acquisition :-? (Well, I know many people around here are not happy with LabVIEW.) What are people at LinuxEXPO's asking in this regard ? What are the best-working arguments towards RT-Linux ? What are the biggest problems/complaints people do have against RT-Linux ? Btw: The abstract of the talk as well as some information on the symposium can be found at http://molspect.mps.ohio-state.edu/symposium/Program/WJ.html#WJ08 Thank you for your suggestions. -- Jochen Heinrich-Heine-Universität Düsseldorf [EMAIL PROTECTED] Institut für Physikalische Chemie I phone ++49-211-8113681 Universitätsstr. 26.43.02.29 fax ++49-211-8115195 40225 Düsseldorf, Germany www-public.rz.uni-duesseldorf.de/~jochen --- [rtl] --- To unsubscribe: echo "unsubscribe rtl" | mail [EMAIL PROTECTED] OR echo "unsubscribe rtl <Your_email>" | mail [EMAIL PROTECTED] ---- For more information on Real-Time Linux see: http://www.rtlinux.org/~rtlinux/
