Welcome to the RTL community! :-)
RTLinux is certainly alive and people are both using RTLinux
and working on making it even better.
I'm not involved in RTLinux development nor the web site,
but I'd guess the ones who are, as well as the rest of the
RTLinux community are hard working hackers that prefer C/C++
to english... ;-) (Or perhaps just really need to get things
working before the project deadlines.)
Most events in the are of communication and announcements seem
to take place on this mailing list, which may be why most
members don't worry that much about the web site.
BTW, how many are we around here? How many on the mailing list?
Anyway, the modules should still work as long as they're
compatible with the RTL API installed, and the -f switch
lets you load them even though they don't match the kernel
verion.
I'm not very much into the kernel verison thing, and I don't
remember exactly how I fixed it on my systems... (I've seen
the problem once or twice.) It's been discussed some times
on the list, so a search in the archive may help.
