Hello!

I made the installation of RTLinux version 1.1 for kernel 2.0.36
(I took 2.0.36-3) exactly like it is described in the Installation
Tips by Till Christian Siering, but the compiling of the kernel
brakes with this error:

gcc -D__KERNEL__ -I/usr/src/kernel-source-2.0.36/include -Wall
-Wstrict-prototypes -O2 -fomit-frame-pointer -fno-strength-reduce -D__RT__
-pipe -m486 -malign-loops˙-malign-jumps˙-malign-functions˙-DCPUX6
-c
-o root.o root.c root.c: In function `proc_root_init': root.c:369:
`PROC_RTLINUX' undeclared (first use this function) root.c:369: (Each
undeclared identifier is reported only once root.c:369: for each function
it
appears in.) make[3]: *** [root.o] Error 1 make[3]: Leaving directory
`/usr/src/kernel-source-2.0.36/fs/proc' make[2]: *** [first_rule] Error 2
make[2]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/kernel-source-2.0.36/fs/proc'
make[1]: *** [sub_dirs] Error 2
make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/kernel-source-2.0.36/fs'
make: *** [linuxsubdirs] Error 2

Could anyone tell me what I am doing wrong?

I´m looking forward to your answer!

So long

Andreas
