hi

a little problem that everybody as certainly encountered:
    I've installed RedHat6, and I want to use rtl V1.x .
when I compile the kernel : "warning you have egcs or gcc 2.8, you
need gcc 2.7"
there is a patch for 2.0.36 and egcs but it fail with
rtlV1-(2.0.36).

I forced the compilation (removing the error message in makefile)
and (don't no why) I can't connect x server anymore, no printer
anymore and
many apps crash (gnuplot for exemple).

(I'll use V2.x when it's ok for me)
but what can I do to make rh6 and rtlV1.x coexist ???

many thanks per advance

JP
