The SIMPL project (www.holoweb.net/~simpl) is dedicated to bringing a simple Send/Receive/Reply messaging scheme (first popularized by OS's such as QNX) to the Open Source Linux/RTLinux community. One of our members Sam Roberts has been working diligently over the past few months developing a very interesting "product". It's a Linux module which implements a very capable QNX API. We are pleased to announce that Sam has agreed to let the SIMPL project mirror his work. His latest tarball is now available for download (see www.holoweb.net/~simpl). We are more than pleased to open the SIMPL project mailing list up to persons with communications needs regarding his work as well. At some point we would like to see a single source stream which merges the best from both efforts to provide a fully functional high performance Send/Receive/Reply messaging scheme to the open source Linux community.
