Hello :
Is there any limitation on how many FIFOs can be opened
in Linux (not RT Linux)
I am having problems opening , say, 40 of them. All
/dev/rtf devices
are created with different minor numbers, but the same unique major
number 63.
I am a root while I am doing all of this. All file descriptors
that are returned by "open" are 4,5,6, then -1 (failure).
I have checked the devices that return -1 and there
is nothing wrong with them. In total, I can only create 4 FIFOS
and that is it !
Any ideas ?
