Thanks a lot for the response! I'm sure your arguments (and their NIST
background ;-) ) will make a lot of sense in my discussions.
And because machine control is a primary application area for real-time, it
would maybe be a good idea to put link to EMC
<http://www.isd.cme.nist.gov/projects/emc/emcsoft.html> on the RT Linux
site?
But the original question remains largely unanswered: a one-page document
with an overview of the technical differences between RT Linux and other
RTOSs would still be a useful advocacy addition to the RTL website, I
guess...
