I am intending to use RT-Linux in a small project that I am creating but
I have been having trouble finding all of the information that I
require. One thing that I have not found anywhere is how RT-Linux
improves the granularity of the clock from 10 ms (Intel chip) to
something like 20 micro-seconds. I am very interested in how it does
this, whether it is synchronized with the normal clock and also whether
it effects any network timing protocols.

If anyone could answer these questions for me (or point me to some
relevant documentation) it would be great.

Thank you

Mark Wesley
