I have released http://crds.chemie.unibas.ch/PCI-MIO-E/mbuff-0.6pre4.tar.gz It contains David's code for multiple named buffers and also modified rtl_nfifo.c (from v1.2) which should be "mmapable". Sorry, this is not tested, Makefile will need to be tweaked to actually compile rtl_nfifo.c. I just wanted to get it out as soon as possible. The modifications of rtl_nfifo.c are very minor and well localised. The real horror is include files and linking everything together. Of course I have nothing against merging it with official RTL distribution as well as RTAI. I will continue working on it tommorow. I would appreciate your comments on the interface.
