Hi!

I can't remember that it was yet mentioned here, but
there exists a commercial produkt based on
RT-Linux called "Industrial Linux".

AFAIK, it is the first third-party Company here
in Germany that uses RT-Linux to make money.

The official site is:
http://www.fraenz-jaeger.de/ilinux.htm

Here you can find a summery in german language:
http://www.linux-magazin.de/News/index_html?newsid=398

Small summary in english:

The company provides an IEC-1131 runtime-interpreter (used for SPS-
Applikations), that has to be started as an RT-Linux-thread.

There are debugging, logging and messaging mechanisms so that
rt-space and user-space can talk to each other.

You can programm your SPS-applications (IEC-binaries)
within a graphical editor (runing on Windblow, uuurg) in the languages
AWL, KOP/FUB and ST. (of course, the stability of rt-linux is not
harmed by the windows-programm).
