As far as I understand it would be impossible to have real-time AND non
real-time EXISTING Linux apps BOTH running at the SAME TIME on the SAME
CPU with Elix.
One could imagine to use eCos in place of RTL or RTAI (using the HAL
concept as suggested by Paolo in RTAI documentation);-) to achieve this
goal.
This could also help solving the RTL vs RTAI dilemma by standardizing on
a unique API.
