Question:

Does anybody have a rough idea of how long is a "common" bus delay introduced by
reading or writing from either ISA or PCI cards?

I am experiencing a 5 micro-second delay every time I perform a read or write from any
of my ISA cards. I am now trying to move my code into using PCI cards, and would like
to get a handle of how big these delays would be with the PCI cards.

Any takers?
