I got a compiler error :
rtai.c: In function `hard_lock_all_handler':
include/rtai.h:342: Invalid `asm' statement:
include/rtai.h:342: fixed or forbidden register 0 (ax) was spilled for
class AREG.

and this is for linux-2.2.13 + RTAI0.8 .
(it does same for linux-2.2.12 + RTAI0.7 I already compiled with
pgcc-1.1.3 without any pb)
gcc-2.95 is buggy ???
