Phil Daly has notified me about problems with mbuff-0.6.2 (OOPS etc.). It
looks like they were caused by compiling the module without -D__SMP__ and
using it with SMP kernel. Does anyone know a good way to autodetect whether
kernel sources in /usr/src/linux are configured with SMP? Preferably without
any "make config" step.
Anyway, until I fix it, using proper flags in mbuff Makefile is very
important (-D__RT__ -D__SMP__ etc.). When the module is compiled as a part of
RTL2.0 this is done automatically - rtl.mk is included.
Also Christian Nolte has noticed that inserting and removinf mbuff.o could
result in the following:
mbuff 1 (deleted)
Has anyone else observed that ?
