Hi!
I'm developing a little embedded system that use
an Intel 80C186 microprocessor. This embedded hardware has four UART and the
primary function of it is to translate some serial protocol of different
standard.
I've seen on internet the RTLinux real time operating system
and i'm very interessed on it but i don't know so mutch about the linux
world.
Can somebody tell me if it's possible to use the RTLinux
kernel on a 80C186 based hardware or if it's a crazy idea ? And, it's possible
to compile the C source code with a DOS compiler and make the project in a dos
environment ?
Thank you.
