Hello It looks like RTL could be a nice "spinlock killer" for linux. I've slightly modified frank_module code to write something dirrectly to VGA buffer screen (now its the simmilar message to rtl_dump_regs I think) However what I really need is to know where is the EIP inside the linux task - I suppose is the set on the top of fake_regs buffer, however I don't see any easy way to access this register (going to recompile & export) from rtlmodule. Couldn't this be made a regular feature of RTLinux? - I think it could be great work catch this kind of bugs (also now I can see there is some debugger which is access this though the trap call) If there are some easier ways for this, please let me know. bye -- Zdenek Kabelac http://i.am/kabi/ [EMAIL PROTECTED] {debian.org; fi.muni.cz} -- [rtl] --- To unsubscribe: echo "unsubscribe rtl" | mail [EMAIL PROTECTED] OR echo "unsubscribe rtl <Your_email>" | mail [EMAIL PROTECTED] --- For more information on Real-Time Linux see: http://www.rtlinux.org/rtlinux/
