I tarred up a new version of modbuild, basically a gathering of all the patches that had gone into individual projects. Even though the version number is 0.0.2, it is essentially complete, and seems to do all that I need it to do right now. Modbuild is a modification of the Linux Makefiles to build modules "the kernel way", but outside of the kernel source tree. It takes care of all those little pesky details about SMP, MODVERSIONS, exporting symbols, and cross-compiling. Additionally, (and the reason this goes to the RTLinux list, and why you all want to use it yourself) is that it also correctly handles the necessary flags and include directories for RTLinux and RTAI.
