FWIW... I've been doing some work with "software radios". That's a
rapidly advancing field... It seems that Analog Devices is the leader
in A/Ds for that application. They've had 65 Ms/s 12 bit A/Ds for a
while now (AD6640) and recently I saw mention of both faster (100
Ms/s?) and higher resolution at the same speed (14 bits) devices.
I don't know about finished data acquisition boards built from that,
but it doesn't sound like a terribly difficult task.
