I have been studying and running the "frank zappa" demo program under
RTL2.0. "frank_module.c" uses "rtl_printf"s to output debug-type
information. But where does it appear?

Though the output from the file's lone printk is visible using
dmesg(8), the output of the rtl_printf's don't appear to show up where
I expected them: one or another of the Linux consoles (C-M F1 -->
C-M F4 showed nothing).

Where might I find rtl_printk's output? Not /dev/null, I hope!

A related question: how to "watch" the output of 'dmesg' grow (the
command, not the file at /var/log/dmesg)? I tried "dmesg|tail -f",
but that doesn't work.

Thanks,
