Yes, both PPro processors are from the same stepping number, same frequency 200 MHz,
same cache size 256 KB.
To try another pair I would have to buy it - might as well buy a more generic
motherboard :-).
By the way, the /proc/cpuinfo shows "processor : 0" and "processor : 4" (???). I have
only two processors and would expect "processor : 1". Any explanation? Makes me more
suspicious about my hardware.
I am trying to troubleshoot my rtai-1.2 installation - streamline the kernel config
and try different rtai smp schedulers and fifo modules.
Also, I am going to check the latest rtlinux-2.3 smp_patch2 from Victor Yodaiken.
I think that "Unable to handle kernel NULL pointer dereference at virtual address
00000000" message might be the key to my problem. Did anyone, except me and Surya,
ever get this kind of message?
