Hallo,
it's a shame ... I never had such problems to compile and install an new
rtl/linux kernel 8(.
I have upgraded to Redhat 6.2 and I can boot the original kernel. After
patching and compiling the rtl-2.2 kernel 2.2.14, cp to /boot etc and calling
lilo, I get the following message:
Warning: unable to open an initial console
Kernel Panic: No init found ....
lilo loading with parameters init=/bin/sh or similar doesn't help. I have no
idea where to look (I found the peace of code inside the kernel source but I
cant't handle with rhis informations). Who can help me, thanks a lot.
