ftp://ftp.fsmlabs.com/pub/rtlinux/v3/rtl3.snap.041900.tgz contains
another RTL 3.0 snapshot that should fix this problem.
PPC and Alpha are still broken.

This release supports SMP and UP on x86, and seems stable with both.
The kernel for the patch is 2.3.99-pre6-3
