Hello RTAIers

Last week I posted a message that said I was having a problem starting
and exiting Gnome after I locked my machine up while doing some RT
programming. I was forced to hit the power button (due to bad planning)
after the lock up and following this Gnome took an incredibly long time to
start and would not allow me to exit
via the GUI anylonger (intermittently the problem would correct itself for
unknown reason).

I am writing today to let others know that if you experience a similar
problem you should delete the .ICEauthority file (probably in /root).
I obtained this solution from the Gnome mailing list and seems to have
corrected the problem.

Ciao Daniel
