Michel,
I attempted sending this to your account, but it got bounced back as
being undeliverable. I hope that you get this.
I am currently working on an open source piece of code called the Real
Time Controls Laboratory:
http://128.143.47.231/~efh4v/rtic-lab.html
It allows any controls engineer to easily implement controllers that
will run in hard real time using RTLinux. It also gives the engineer
real time access to all controller parameters, controller states, and
plant I/O .. all of which can be saved to a file, printed to screen, or
even plotted or filtered via any user supplied module -- one of which
could also be made to interface back to Matlab/Simulink for real time
plotting and monitoring.
What the work would entail would be the ability to have Simulink just
put out one file with the user's controller (with some prespecified
macros embedded in the code) and a file that would entail a small script
file (about 5 lines long) that describes the graphical user interface
for the user's controller. All this part of the code is already
working, so it should be minimal effort on the part of the Real Time
Workshop programmers to create this part.
It might just make your life easier.
Please contact me if you are interested in joining forces.
