hello,
we had a similar problem with 2.2.14 going from 2.2.12. when the module is
compiled in the kernel it doesn't appear to pass the correct io address
which is stored in /etc/conf.modules. to fix it recompile the kernel with
the ne2000 driver loaded as a module at run time instead.
