Wen feng,
I've never done what you want to do, but looking on lrp documentation
seems simple to do it. In
http://linuxrouter.sourceforge.net/documentation/LRP-2.9.4/ there are
instructions (Optional: Using a larger RAM disk).
The instructions i found are:
1.1.11 Optional: Using a larger RAM disk
Unless you have only an extremely basic LRP computer with 8 MB of RAM, you
will want to make your RAM disk a little
larger. I like to make it about half of the physical RAM present. That way
there is enough memory left for Linux to run, but
enough disk space for all the logs (which tend to get especially large if
you log dropped packets, something PortSentry does by
default)
Change the line in SYSLINUX.CFG that starts with append. It probably
currently says something like
ramdisk_size=4096
and you want to change it to something like
ramdisk_size=6000
or
ramdisk_size=8192
depending on how much physical RAM you have.
Mounting minirtl.img in my HD i found syslinux.cfg and opened it (using
PICO, but i think could be VI or any other). So i think you need just mount
your minirtl floppy and change this file.
Hoping help,
Daniela.
