Hello,
Am trying to install rtlinux2.2 on my m/c.
Had a doubt during installation - thought it best to confirm with the list
before experimenting further.
1> I have linux kernel version 2.2.12 running on my m/c
2> I downloaded "rtlinux-2.2-prepatched.tgz" file from the rtlinux ftp site
(downloaded this so that I do not need to separately get linux-2.2.14
kernel)
3) Unzipped the above file in the dir "/usr/src". This created a dir
"rtlinux-2.2" in the "/usr/src" dir.
4) As per the file "install" in the "/usr/src/rtlinux2.2" dir, went to the
"/usr/src/rtlinux2.2/linux" dir and ran "make menuconfig" from there.
However, as per ur file "Install.phil", the option "Hard Realtime support"
should appear in the "Processor Type and features" sub-menu. I do not get
this option. What could be the reason for this?
Looking forward to your response.
Thanks,
Vipin Sharma.
