It's me (Paolo Mantegazza) that promised that, he deserved it but I
tried to be kind and said it just to him.
I do not want to hide my opinions, so you now know what he is and who
said that.
However when it comes to splitting this list I think you all are missing
something, and thus talk about warmed air.
None but DIAPM has the right to rule an RTAI mailing list. So, unless
you are referring to what already done (RTL advocacy list), it is
obvious that FSMLabs has nothing to split but can just take the,
perfectly legitimate, decision of moderating, i.e. censor, this, and all
its list as well.
Since they have such a right, that is not my, as well as RTAI users,
problem and we must not interfere in others' houses.
So definitely have it clear that there is no splitting issue at stakes
here, your split/don't vote is just for warming air.
That said I must also add that I appreciated opinions put forward by
people that opted for "do not split"
Ciao, Paolo.
