Hi,
I am new to the rtLinux so I hope I won´t bother you too much. I
have installed RTLinux in a
        PC104 (Cyrics 233MHz 6x86) from Eurotech/RTD Usa. I am using Red Hat
6.2 (Linux Kernel 2.2.14 and
        RTLinux patch 2.0).
I have taken one of the RTLinux examples (the 'hello' one) in order
to test the minimum times
I can obtain. I have changed the thread in that example to send a
square 0-1Volt signal to the
parallel port each 100microseconds. Although it seems that the
square signal in the oscilloscope
is OK, from time to time some extrange pulses appear, that is, it
seems as if sometimes the real time
task had a delay. I have tested the same program on a normal PC
(Pentium I) but it is OK.

The second question is that I don´t understand very well the meaning
of the value the 'gethrtime' function
returns. Why is it signed? Can it be negative?
        Thanks and Best Regards
        Victoria
