I'm a bit new to RT programming and found this link to OpenRTL. I've read the
doc ( as much as possible ) but still have a very
general question.

Suppose the following:
[1] I purchase the OpenRTL/GPL for $50.
[2] Get it installed, etc, etc, etc.
[3] Can I think create, compile, and build modules for use with miniRTL? I
guess the general question
really boils down to, " Is the kernal in OpenRTL compatible with the one
in miniRTL? "
My intention is to build and test modules on OpenRTL and then once
succesful move them to
       a miniRTL environment.

Thanks,
Bill
