hi all

which linux distribution would you choose if you got to compile/use a kernel
from kernel.org (as you have to when using rtlinux) ?
perhaps you might wonder about this silly question, but I ran into problems
with mandrake linux and the 2.4.4 kernel. Mandrake installed with
development tools etc etc, but the kernel compilation (make bzImage) just
fails. yacc: command not found. seems as only comiling their own kernel is
ok...later I found yacc on the net, but then it fails one line below...

so which distribution do you prefer/recommend for rtlinux?
