Sounds interesting, but:
rtdaq.tar.bz2 is only readable by root on that server.  :(

Check out peter wurmsdobler rtdaq drivers for RTLinux - not exactly for
that card but it contains other Advantec cards - also the rtdaq.tar.bz2 
package comes with a template driver that is fairly simple to adopt to 
a new driver. check at

  ftp://ftp.fsmlabs.at/pub/rtlinux/contrib/peterw/
