Hello all.

Since DAQ boards have turned out to be too expensive I am thinking of using
normal audio boards instead. I only need simple analog I/O features:
-Writing samples in an output buffer for them to be realeased at a fixed
frecuency to the DAC.
-Reading samples from an input buffer feeded by the ADC at the same fixed
frecuency.
-No limitation in sampling frecuency.Simply as high as possible.

Is this possible with audio boards?
How can it be done in RTLinux?
Some examples?

Thanks and best regards.

Miguel.
