Moderation is another term (perhaps confusing/ambiguous) for having a
"moderator" on the newsgroup. When you have a moderator the newsfeed is
termed "moderated", and the act of moderating the newsgroup/message board
can be known as "moderation".

A moderator is just a person who has undertaken the thankless job of weeding
out all of the "enlarge your..." garbage and killing it before it gets into
the feed. Just how many different sources of Viagra are there anyhow?

Regards,

Ray Minich (not to be confused with "Special Ed" from Crank Yankers)

HI !

for what reson ever moderation did not work properly - mails were not
going out - so moderation was turned off again (with the consequence of
a garbage flood...). I will be moving the mailing list to use mailman
in the next day or two - anybody that knows mailman and may want to
assist pleas drop me a note at [EMAIL PROTECTED] -

sorry for the messup....

thx !
