Hello, i am writing a scheduller as part of investigating with several scheduling techniques for allocating bandwith in audio and video files, as a Master Thesis roject. I also have to use Xawtv for actually recording streams. I was wondering weather you can point me out where can i find more relevant details about putting it in the RT Linux scheduller frame and making it to run.
i also have another Problem: after fetching a new kernel and patching it with a kernel patch, when i make the modules, they are not being built so i can not actually install them. (using kernel 2.4.4 and rtlinux 3.1) i would rather use 2.4.19, but some of the patches that are around didnt succeed. Do i hve to patch the RT Linux kernel before patching 2.4.19?
