If I'm not mistaken the configure.ac scripts of 0.6.0 and cvs contain a bug. If --enable-loopback (or --enable-loopback=yes, or ... )is passed to the configure-script, the loopback driver is _not_ built.
The following patch should solve this minor problem.
Thanks, and I would like to say "applied", but the patch (which also touches two further configure parameters) is still waiting for the CVS to become valid again. (maybe this year, maybe next year...)
