Hi Doug, 

I've seen on last night's IRC log that one of your students is working
on TDMA based ethernet for KURT/LibeRTOS. Did you have a look at the
RTnet project? They do TDMA based networking, but based on RTAI at the
moment, and they have developed quite a lot of sophisticated stuff, such
as automatic configuration deployment and TCP/IP-tunneling-over-RTnet.
Currently my plan was to first wait that Thomas sends me a tree I can
test the LibeRTOS stuff with and then see how RTnet can be ported over;
we should definitely synchronize our activities, I would long term love
to see RTnet being independend of RTAI and boxes with RTAI and LibeRTOS
talking to each other in the same network...
