Hi all, I am using Linux-2.4-24/RTAI-3.0/comedi-0.7.67 and I need to know some things about RTnet. Plzz clarify on these things. -Am I able to send data using tcp/ip to any other machine on the network or is it necessary to have rtnet on the other side??
-I compiled and installed rtnet but I am not able to figure out what should be my configuration ? I am confused abt TDMA and rtmac ? r they necessary for just sending and receiving tcp/ip packets over the network. -I loaded modules for loopback and 8139too-rt but not able to ping to either 127.0.0.1 or ip which I had set thru /etc/rtnet.conf What is missing??
