with your patch PING is working fine, but TELNET is still not working.
... seems to be a problem of rtnetproxy.
Not sure. I just verified your setup on my system, and rtnetproxy worked immediately without problems. Are there any filter rules installed on the Linux part of your realtime box? What happens if you use a port which is not occupied by any server? Is your connection correctly refused, or are there also no replies?
