Hello!

My eepro100-rt.o driven NIC (Intel i82555) *never* connects in FULL Duplex
mode, it only communicates in half duplex mode (autonegotiation,
10/100Mbit). Even forcing Full Duplex (options=48) takes no effect.
Parameter full_duplex=1 seems to be ignored. The driver reports full duplex
but the link is half duplex.

When running the NIC with original e100.o full duplex is ok.
Duplex state is shown by both, a switch and crosslinked NIC.
This means my rt-NIC itself and communication partners are full duplex
capable and the drawback seems to be located in eepro100-rt :-Z
eepro100-rt.o is from package rtnet-0.2.10 (sorry, but IMHO there are no big
changes concerning the hardware driver)

Does anybody have the same effect?
Can anybody verify the use of eepro100-rt in full duplex mode?
How can I get full duplex operation?

Thanks in advance,
Alex
