I have recently realised that the work of ACE and TAO especially TAO is rather close to what RTnet is designed for. Just wondering what is the difference here other than one that uses real-time Corba, such as the performances and services.
There are plans to use the RTAI port of ACE/TAO (http://tao-ocean-dcrf.sourceforge.net) over RTnet. I'm not up-to-date about the current status, but some members of the porting team should listen to this list...
