I have a board with 2 realtek 8139 ethernet ports. I would like to use one for real time communication (rtnet), the other one would just participate in a classical LAN network. Can I do this ? In that case both 8139too drivers need to be loaded in the kernel (standard and real time version). Or can I use the real time driver for both ?
Load the real-time driver first providing the module parameter "cards=1" (the rtnet script does this automatically). Then the other adapter will be left over for the non-real-time driver.
