Please try the following commands in the following order on a freshly booted system 
with no real-time modules loaded:

modprobe adeos
modprobe rtai_hal
modprobe rtai_fifos
modprobe rtai_rtdm
modprobe rtnet
modprobe 3c59x-rt cards=1
/usr/local/rtnet/sbin/rtifconfig rteth0 up 142.104.107.48 netmask 255.255.0.0
/usr/local/rtnet/sbin/rtroute solicit 142.104.102.167 dev rteth0
rtping 142.104.102.167


You do not need routing, since both hosts are on the same network.

Do not try to use RTmac when you do not have a dedicated real-time network.
