i've seen, that there is a new directory called "nomac" checked in on the CVS repository. What is that?
Yet undocumented :)
It shall serve as a skeleton for the development of new RTmac disciplines - like TDMA-V2. NoMAC consists of the discipline module and a minimalistic configuration tool nomaccfg.
But it is also a usable discipline driver which simply sends out any messages as soon as the stack requests it (NoMAC: no media access control). As it uses RTmac, the VNICs are available as well. To attach NoMAC e.g. to rteth0, simply run "nomaccfg rteth0 attach" ("detach" reverses this).
