After fusion 0.9 being released now, it's time to push RTnet to its next
release as well. 0.9.0-test1 has just been uploaded, and now you are
invited to play with it in order to find potential regressions compared
to 0.8.3.

This is not yet a feature freeze, especially as support for RTAI/classic
(magma, i.e. upcoming 3.3) is still under construction and a patch to
add elementary multicast and IGMP support is pending. Furthermore, some
parts still need cleanup. Anyway, you can already test the improved
build system (kbuild), RTnet's integration with the official RTDM layer
of RTAI/fusion and classic, and some new and quite interesting drivers:
RTL8169 Gigabit and Ethernet-over-1394 => see also RT-FireWire project.

Feedback warmly welcome!
