Hard to say without further information. Which versions of ORTE, RTnet, and RTAI are you using? You may try to analyse the communication by using RTcap with Ethereal or tcpdump (see README in RTnet). I also CC'ed the main ORTE developer, Petr Smolik. Maybe he can provide some further suggestions on how to debug your setup. Jan
