Hi all, the first release candidate for RTnet 0.9.0 has finally been uploaded to the website, see
www.rts.uni-hannover.de/rtnet/download.html
Some highlights:
* Xenomai support
* interactive configuration ("make menuconfig")
* Gigabit Ethernet with Realtek 8169
* Ethernet-over-FireWire (via rt-firewire.berlios.de)
Please give it a try soon, the final release is planned for this week if
no critical issues show up. Our own tests over Xenomai 2.0 look
promising. RTAI 3.3 (magma CVS) is support as well again but has not
been tested on real systems. Anyone being able to provide feedback on
this combination would be welcome!
