What binds you to RTAI 3.1 and prevents an update? I see currently no easy way to make the new joint slot feature available for your old platform. So, before porting anything back to old RTAI versions, it's helpful to clarify the requirements first. If it's just for a simple function test, setting something up with recent Xenomai 2.0.1 and RTnet 0.9.0 will typically not cost you a lot of time. Jan
